The Anti-Slop Filter: How to Spot (and Avoid) AI-Generated Jargon That Decision-Makers Hate Reading

Published September 7, 2026 by David

I’ve posted this kind of thing on LinkedIn before: "In today’s ever-evolving B2B landscape, it’s crucial to unlock synergies and unleash our full potential."

Result? My followers scrolled like I’d just hit them with a meditation retreat ad.

That text? Slop—lukewarm, flavorless, soulless. A lazy ChatGPT prompt on autopilot. The problem? We tried to automate content without caring about ROI. Now, social media is flooded with robotic jargon. Your future customers? They don’t have three seconds to decode your empty phrases.

The Blacklist: Words That Kill Your ROI

Decision-makers have developed a bullshit radar. They scan your post in three seconds. If you use jargon, they move on. That’s the cognitive simplification rule.

Ban these phrases from your slides immediately:

  • "In today’s fast-paced world…" → No one cares if your world is fast-paced.
  • "It’s crucial to remember that…" → If it’s crucial, say it clearly—not in five wasted words.
  • "In conclusion / To summarize…" → Spoiler: No one reads your conclusions.

These phrases do nothing. They take up space. Worse, they prove you outsourced your thinking to AI. Exactly what I analyzed here: the illusion of perfection in 100% AI-generated posts that destroy your credibility.

Take Back Control: Write Like a Human, Not a Bot

The issue isn’t using AI to get started. The issue is letting it write for you. Your B2B expertise is your voice, your words, your failures, your wins. Not a generic template.

Be ruthless with your prompts: "No jargon. Short, direct sentences. Cut all generic conclusions."

The machine is an executor. If you let it play editor-in-chief, it’ll churn out mediocre slop.

Structure Your Content Like a Pro: AI for Design, You for Ideas

To generate leads in 2026, write with your voice. No filters. No jargon. Just your ideas, your words, your raw structure.

AI is for the rest: layout, alignment, contrast. Use it to package your expertise, not to think for you.

Take your slop-free draft and let the rendering engine turn it into a surgically designed carousel, straight from the Studio.
